思路：用 By following 作方式状语，强调“依据农历”这个手段。

注：

1、这句长句包含“依据”、“记录安排”、“以便利用”、“提高”四个层次。翻译的关键是用适当的连接词把这些层次串联起来。

“依据农历”可以处理为方式状语 By following...，也可以融入主句 used it to...。前者强调手段，后者更直接。

“记录日期、安排农活”是两个并列动作，英文中用 and 连接即可。

“以便最有效地利用”是目的状语，可以用 so as to、in order to、aiming to 来表达。to 后面接动词原形，注意不要写成 to + 动名词。
