  Nowadays, with the science and technology developing, there is a discussion about whether  modern science and technology is helpful to foster innovation. From my perspective, there’s no doubt in saying that modern science and technology paves the way for innovation.

One the one hand, the advantage is that science and technology lays a solid foundation for innovation. For example, the advanced facilities, such as 3D printers and 5G wireless system, come into being, which equip people with key tools to make creations. On the other hand, the disadvantage is that science and technology may hinder people from developing their curiosity and imagination, since they are used to enjoying the existing benefits of modern science and technology. Taking an objective attitude toward the issue is vitally important.

Based on what is mentioned above, we can come to a conclusion: we must attach great importance to the role played by science and technology. Only by doing this can we make use of modern technology to foster innovation better.

Nowadays, with the society and campus culture developing, there is a discussion about whether idols are needed for college students. From my perspective, there’s no doubt in saying that role models will, directly or indirectly, bring a great influence on their college life.

 On the one hand, the advantage is that the idols, such as Yuan Longping and Wu Mengchao, who make great contributions to the society, inspire students to set up life goals and overcome the hardships. On the other hand, the disadvantage is that some students blindly imitate everything that their idols do, which brings harmful impact on their personal development. Taking an objective attitude toward the issue is vitally important.

 Based on what is mentioned above, we can come to a conclusion: we must attach great importance to the role played by idols. Only by establishing an ambitious and attainable goal and learning lessons from their experience can we become successful in the future.

  Nowadays, with global economy developing, there is a discussion about whether alternative sources of energy should be encouraged in protecting the environment. From my perspective, there’s no doubt in saying that alternative sources of energy will, directly or indirectly, bring a great influence on our daily life.

On the one hand, one advantage is that they are beneficial to solving the shortage issue of traditional resources, since traditional sources of energy are in short supply. Another advantage is that most alternative sources of energy make use of natural resources, causing little pollution to the environment. On the other hand, the disadvantage of is that accidental leakages of some nuclear power stations pose threat to the environment and break the ecological balance. Taking an objective attitude toward the issue is vitally important.

 Based on what is mentioned above, we can come to a conclusion: we must attach great importance to the role played by alternative sources of energy in protecting the environment.  Only by doing this can we achieve both sustainable economic and environmental development.

Nowadays, with the society and information technology developing, there is a discussion about what will happen when an increasing number of people are working way from their offices. From my perspective,there’s no doubt in saying that telecommuting will, directly or indirectly, bring a great influence on the way we work.

On the one hand, one advantage is that telecommuting saves the time people spend commuting and helps to reduce the cost of office environment. Another advantage is that it improves working efficiency, since people work flexibly without limitations of time and space. On the other hand, the disadvantage is that telecommuting leads to declining sense of responsibility and it’s difficult to establish cooperation and spark creativity in the virtual working environment. Taking an objective attitude toward the issue is vitally important.

Based on what’s mentioned above, we can come to a conclusion: we must attach great importance to the role played by telecommuting. Only by doing this can people really improve their way of work.
